Kaleigh is ONE!

My little girl turned one on April 2nd. It seems like just yesterday she was born. Kaleigh has been such a gift from above- she has an immense love of life and it's hard to find her without a smile on her face. We had quite the shindig for her. All of our local family and friends arrived and then my mom flew in from CT. We had about 30 adults and 18 kids here at once- it was a crazy time.

It's amazing how little girls differ so much from little boys. Kaleigh is much more independent than Kollin was at her age. She gets into EVERYTHING and that is not an exaggeration. She started walking about 2 weeks before her birthday and she now says quite a few words like "mama, dada, hersh (for my dad's dog, Hershey), uh-oh, no, nite nite, bye bye and a few others. The crazy hair she was born with never fell out and now instead she has longer hair than I do. Her first haircut was at 8 months because her bangs were so long she was having a hard time seeing! She cut her first tooth at 9 months. She slept in her own room for the first time at 6 months. She started crawling at 7 months. She moved to Florida at 4 months, and unlike mom and big brother, she doesn't seem to miss CT at all! Kaleigh would play outside in the hot sun and annoying bugs all day if she could. She is such my little tomboy and I love her for it! Kaleigh J you will always be mommy's little girl!
